Nigeria’s headline inflation eased slightly to 15.10 per cent in January 2026, down from 15.15 per cent in December 2025, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Monday. Thirty-one people have died from Lassa fever within five weeks, according to the latest data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
